NOV. 9: FFA MEMBERS: There will be a FFA meeting in Ms. Pryor’s room after school today.

 

NOV. 14: ATTENTION STUDENTS: We will be hosting an Advance Education Night on Monday, November 14th.  SFCC will be conducting an orientation for current and future dual enrollment students from 3:45 – 4:45.  Also from 5:00 – 6:00.  SFCC and the College Board will give a presentation on AP Classes.  The evening will end with the opportunity for a question and answer session.  Please make plans to attend.

 

NOV. 14: STUDENTS: SFCC will hold an orientation on Monday, November 14th at the DeSoto Campus in room 110 beginning at 3:45 p.m. ending by 5:30 p.m.

 

NOV. 17: FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS: Sub Debs are hosting a Food Drive.  Please bring canned or non-perishable food items and place them in the collection boxes in your homeroom class.  Food will be collected on Nov. 18th, the class with the most food will receive a Free Breakfast party from the Sub Debs.  Please plan to give to those in need.

 

NOV. 30: SENIORS: If you are interested in the June Bartell Memorial Scholarship see Mrs. Petrey for an application.

 

DEC 12: SENIORS: Any student athlete is eligible for the Big Sun Scholarship in the amount of $500.00 regardless of which sport you are participating in.  Log onto www.bigsunathletics.com to apply.  The deadline is June 22, 2012.

 

DEC. 31: SENIORS: Any Hispanic senior that is interested in the “Make the U” Scholarship program needs to log onto www.colgate.com/hazlau.  The deadline is December 31, 2011.

 

JAN. 9: STUDENTS:  Need help paying for college???  Log onto www.roybal-allard.house.gov/uploadedfiles/scholarship_Tuide_2011-2012.pdf. for lots of opportunities.

 

JAN 27: SENIORS: Anyone planning on attending the University of Florida log ont www.honors.ufl.edu(lLombardi-andstamps-scholarship.aspx.  The deadline for the application is January 27th 2012.

 

FEB. 12: FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS: Please support the SADD fund raiser.  ALL SALES WILL BE SOLD AND ORDERED IN COACH DURATO’S ROOM. DO NOT GO TO HIS ROOM DURING A CLASS TO PLACE AN ORDER. PLEASE NO BILLS BIGGER THAN TWENTIES.  You may place orders before school between the hours of 8:15- 8:30, to be picked up after school between the hours of 2:20 – 2:35 and or during all lunches.THERE WILL BE NOTHING SOLD DURING SCHOOL. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY LATE PASSES GIVEN, SO COME ON YOUR FREE TIME. ORDERES PLACED AFTER 8:30 WILL BE FOR AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP ONLY.

PRICES FOR ITEMS SOLD ARE AS FOLLOWS: PICKLED SAUSAGES $1.00 EACH

PICKLED EGGS $.50 EACH, PICKLES $.75 EACH, AIR HEAD EXTREME BELTS $1.00 EACH, REGULAR AIR HEADS, $.25 EACH.

 

MARCH 1: ATTENTION SENIORS: If you are planning to attend FSU, FL, A&M, FGCU, Santa Fe, TCC, or UF please see Mrs. Petrey for a scholarship opportunity for housing.  The deadline is March 1, 2012.
